At Husel Hockey Club we select the right coaches for each of our teams, whether that’s to play at the Open Competitions, State or National Hockey League or encourage new players to participate at our development centre at SK Taman Bunga Raya 2.
Our Senior and Junior Head Coaches and Head Junior Development are responsible for building the program and strategy based on the previous year’s successes and developing all of our teams.
AMIN RAHIM
Muhammad Amin Rahim, 49, Malaysian hockey player plays for the national team between 1999 to 2012 whom later take up coaching to become one successful hockey coach in the country. During the years as national player, Coach Amin played in the SEA games (1999, 2013), Commonwealth games (2006), Asian Champions Trophy (2011, 2012), Sultan Azlan Shah cup (2003 to 2012), World Cup qualifier (2005, 2009) and also Olympic qualifier (2004, 2008 & 2012). As a player, among his notable achievements include winning silver medal in the Asian games (2010) and Sultan Azlan Shah cup (2009). Amin started coaching for the national team since 2015 and competed in various national and international tournaments. In 2023, he was the Head Coach National Junior under-20 (‘young tigers’) squad competing in the JWC2023 that was held in Kuala Lumpur. Between 2018 to 2022 he led the national squad competed in the yearly Sultan Azlan Shah cup, and emerged victorious as the Champion in the 2022 campaign. Husel Hockey Club welcomes Coach Amin as the Men’s Senior Head Coach for the 2024/25 season to bring his vast experience in coaching at the highest standards.
RADZI NOH (RADZI)
Radzi Noh, 41, started playing hockey since the young age. He played for SekolahAlam Shah which became the Champion at the MSSKL 1998. He graduated from theUniversiti Islam Antarabangsa (UIA) Gombak and played for the UIA hockey team and competed in the MASUM tournaments (2003-2008). In 2009, Radzi played for the Felda hockey team which became Champion in the KL League 2010. Coach Radzi joined Husel Hockey Club in May 2023 and played for the team in several open tournaments including the Selangor Hockey League 2024. Recently in August 2024, Radzi captained the Husel veteran hockey team to compete in the PSA-SLD Ipoh tournament and emerged as Champion. Radzi started coaching while also playing when he coached the Telekom Malaysia hockey team which competed in the KL League2012. He also had his touch with Police Terengganu team in 2014, and also with Kelab Hoki Freelance B played in the KL League2015. In March 2024, Husel Hockey appointed coach Radzi to lead the Husel junior team to compete in the Malaysia Junior Hockey League (MJHL). Coach Radzi is a certified National Level 1 coach. Husel Hockey Club welcomes Coach Radzi as the Men’s Junior Head Coach and preparing the junior squad for next year’s MJHL2025 outing.
MURSID AL-HAFIZ (MURSID)
Mursid Al-Hafiz Husaimi, 52, currently teaching at the SMK Bukit Sentosa 2, Rawang Selangor. He is the hockey Technical Officer (Upper) Hulu Selangor appointed by the Pejabat Pendidikan Daerah (PPD) Hulu Selangor. He isalso the HeadCoach at the district training centre (PLD) forboysunder 14 years old category.Mursid holds degree in Physical Education from University Putra Malaysia and a certified National Coaching Hockey Level 2. Husel Hockey Club welcomes Coach Mursid where he will lead the junior development programand formulate the strategy for Hulu Selangor.
